I mean, she knows, but she doesn't know about the surprise, soooo... HEY! I saw you! No, no, don't you dare go tell on me! *holds out plate of cookies* PLEEEEASE?)

Ah. The point: I'll write music to something in SHADE! I know you probably care about my music as much as I care about cabbages, but hey, don't you wanna at least see me fail so you can laugh at me? 'cause I'm giving you permission to do that. Yeah. Okay, not the best thing ever, but it's something, isn't it? So, as long as you vote for Aura, you can make a suggestion to a scene or whatever in SHADE, SHIFT, or SHINE (if you're lucky enough to have read it already and don't mind, ya know, telling me some of the stuff. ;) ) I should compose about! (I say suggestion because I can't guarantee any inspiration.)

Why I shouldn't make promises

So yesterday, I made a silly little promise that I knew was going to have to happen anyway...

In case you've been living in Antarctica, the YA-Sisterhood is hosting a tournament of (plug your ears!) fictional heroines... and Aura from the SHADE trilogy made it in!! :D

So... yeah. I'm hosting a giveaway. An AWESOME (at least I hope so) giveaway.

Now I have to first make a disclaimer that I am not an expert at this, but... the winner will get some really cool stuff.

Like, a free design. By me. If you... want one. *smiles sheepishly* (Blogger only. Sorry.) I won't be making full templates (maybe later on in the tourney), but I can, if you want, make headers/buttons or just stuff like this:

Oh. Hey there! Fancy seeing you here.

So, as you guys know, the stunning Zachary Moore went against the superb Jace Wayland yesterday in the YA Crush Tournament Finals. I had promised that, if Zach wins, I will select one winner and send them a book of their choice under $20. 

Yeah, um, Zach didn't win.

BUT! Before you get all sad-faced, hear me out first. Zach was lastly seeded. He was in last place when the tournament started. But somehow, one tournament after the other, this swoon-worthy underdog came out victorious. He went from LAST place to SECOND place. Is that not amazing or what? But of course, this would not have been possible without the support of Team Kilt (count me in! But I think we all agree that the most credit goes to Amy & Jen of Fictitious Delicious)! In all of Jace's previous rounds, he won by at least SIXTY-FIVE percent. 

Guess what? Zach lost by LESS than 3000 votes! THREE percent!!!!!!!!

So, in honor of Zachary, and because I feel like I should give y'all who entered the giveaway something, I've come up with an alternative:

Spread the word. When I reach fifty followers, I will host a giveaway. The prize will either be an ARC or a book of YOUR CHOICE again, whichever YOU WANT. And just so you know, all of you lads who entered before? No need to re-enter (although you should probably leave a comment or email me at thereviewsnews@gmail.com so I know you're interested in re-entering). I will give you guys TRIPLE the amount of entries. How does that sound? :)
